About

The best strategies and stories start with a human truth. Find the heart, then dabble the humor. I try to infuse my work with the best of both. My name is Jessie Cadle, and I am a Chicago-based creative strategist and creative director. Personally, I enjoy taking dance classes that I’m too uncoordinated for, going on long walks with my girlfriend, and performing in storytelling shows around the city.

Professionally, here’s a little more about me (for your viewing pleasure):

—I spent four years as a Sr. Creative Strategist at Pinterest, where I took on a venn diagram of roles that drove revenue over 15% every quarter. I was part creative director, coming up with best in class campaign ideas for brands from American Express to Liberty Mutual. Part strategist, finding the right insights and brand positioning to help my brands stand out on the platform. And part presenter, leading workshops and webinars, and fulfilling my greatest dream of presenting to clients as my full-time job.

—Before Pinterest, I spent four years as an Associate Creative Director, Copy at Arc Worldwide/Leo Burnett building award-winning campaigns. For two years, I led the Molson Coors team and managed a team of 12 creatives. I oversaw the creation of Coors Light Beerman AR experiences, Topo Chico video games, Vizzy Hard Seltzer Pride events, Miller Lite Football programming, and Peroni Instagram Live classes. During my Arc tenure, I also helped run the Diageo spirits and Olay skincare teams, won a Gold Reggie & Gold Effie, and the CVS new business pitch.

–Previously, I was a senior copywriter at Geometry Global (now VMLY&R), where I wrote campaigns for Kimberly Clark and won the Bud Light Lime-A-Rita new business pitch.

–Before I moved to Chicago, I was a junior copywriter at Mullen Pittsburgh where I wrote copy for clients ranging from Yankee Candle to HTH Pool Care.

–In my Pittsburgh glory, I freelanced for the Pittsburgh Marathon and created a blog — Let’s Run The Day — that tracked my personal training for the half marathon.

–In my college years, I interned at Pittsburgh’s Whirl magazine, Table Magazine, and The Chautauquan Daily, and those internships remind me that young Jessie would be so freaking proud that now Jessie still gets to craft stories for a living.
